While Canadian athletes were busy earning 25 medals and showcased talent, resiliency and passion at the recently held Paralympic Winter Games in Bejing, China, EllisDon had a team of its own at the event supporting the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) and Canadian athletes.

The EllisDon Infrastructure Services and Technology (EDIST) team was at the Paralympics to provide everything from pre- and post-occupancy inventory and inspections to on-site operations and maintenance expertise, concierge support, furniture and equipment management, and even signage strategy and implementation. But most importantly, EDIST helped the athletes stay focused and on track for their sporting events, rather than navigating various logistics of the Games.

“The stories and memories made are endless,” said Weihao Liu, a facilities services analyst with EllisDon. “It was awesome to be in such an environment, as part of the Canadian delegation team, and as EllisDon, demonstrating respect, trust, entrepreneurship, openness and mutual accountability.”
