EllisDon recognized for Most Admired Corporate Culture

Mississauga, ON — On Thursday, March 2, 2017, EllisDon was presented with the award for Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures at the 2016 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Summit and Awards Gala in Toronto, ON.

On December 1, 2016, Waterstone Human Capital Ltd. released its annual list, now in its 13th year, of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures. Waterstone Human Capital Ltd. – an executive recruitment and human capital consulting practice – created the national program that recognizes best-in-class Canadian organizations for having cultures that have helped them enhance performance and sustain a competitive advantage.

The program’s Board of Governers selected ten winners in four categories – Enterprise, Mid-Market, Growth and Small Cap, and Broader Public Sector. Nominees were judged on six criteria: vision and leadership; recruitment and hiring for fit; cultural alignment and measurement; retention, rewards and recognition; organizational performance; and corporate social responsibility. EllisDon was selected as one of 10 winners in the Enterprise category (revenues above $500 million), a testament to it being at the forefront of best practices in Canada.
