LiuGong North America has added a new Canadian dealer to its network of distributors.
The equipment maker said July 2 that Atlantic Industrial Equipment LG will begin carrying LiuGong machines through a partnership with Nova Truck Centre, which operates several locations in Nova Scotia.
The agreement with Atlantic Industrial covers the complete line of LiuGong wheel loaders, excavators, mini excavators, Dressta dozers, skid steers and forklifts. Established late last year, the new East Coast dealer will operate out of existing Nova Truck Centre locations in Halifax, Truro and Westville.
With the pandemic changing the way businesses operate, the dealer’s president, James Bond, said LiuGong’s product offering makes it a good fit for the region.
“COVID-19 has taught us that doing business will change,” Bond said in a release. “LiuGong NA offers a completely new business model and value proposition for the industry… For our customers to be able to get everything they need from a single trusted dealer is an advantage for them. With LiuGong, we offer them that.”
