N.L. government charges two companies, one supervisor over fatal 2018 construction site fall

Health & SafetyTwo companies in Newfoundland are facing charges following the death of a worker who fell at a construction site in St. John’s.
The employee died while working on a hotel on New Gower Street on May 28, 2018.
Service NL says Magna Contracting and Management Inc. and Lancor Concrete have been charged with violating the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
A supervisor with Lancor has also been charged with three counts.
