Contractors are invited to nominate an energy efficiency project for this year’s EM Honours awards.

Energy Manager Canada’s EM Honours awards program recognizes excellence in energy efficiency and decarbonization across Canada’s built environment, and anyone involved in a project or solution can submit a nomination.

“Let’s say you’re a contractor who was involved in new-build project that was built to achieve net-zero status, or maybe your team was involved in the procurement of a vital, energy-efficient piece of equipment … we want to hear from you!” stated Anthony Capkun, editor of Energy Manager Canada.

The EM Honours awards program has expanded this year to include several new categories—in addition to the flagship award, Energy Manager of the Year—to better recognize energy efficiency efforts across industry.

“We have kept the nomination process as simple as possible, requiring very little time and effort from nominators,” explained Capkun.
