April 08 - April 14, 2019
Willy-Brandt-Allee 4, 81829 München, Germany

Needing little introduction, bauma returns to Munich, Germany in 2019 for a full week in April.

The huge triennial construction trade fair will cover a whopping 614,000 square metres (6.6 million square feet) and expects 3,500 exhibitors from 55 countries. Major equipment manufacturers exhibiting at the show began setting up their displays as early as late October 2018 in preparation for buyers from around the world and as many as 600,000 visitors.

A pair of extra halls have also been added since the previous show in 2016, bringing the total number to 18. With a prodigious amount of outdoor space, the show stretches about three kilometres from end-to-end.

For Canadian exhibitors and attendees, bauma 2019 has one additional draw. The show is honouring Canada this year as its official partner country, shining the spotlight on the Great White North for its importance to the global construction and mining industries, as well as to highlight some of the new opportunities arising from the CETA trade deal between Canada and the EU.

A special Canada pavilion will be located within the fair’s mining hall and there will be numerous presentations, receptions and other Canadian-themed events. The federal and provincial governments are also offering some incentives for Canadian exhibitors making their way to Munich.

The show runs from April 8 until April 14.
