ACHESON, Alta.—Excavators, loaders and other compact equipment built by Takeuchi Manufacturing will soon be available at dozens of new locations across Canada.
SMS Equipment and the Japan-based equipment manufacturer announced a new deal that covers more than 35 dealerships in Canada, as well as one in Anchorage, Alaska. The Acheson, Alta.-based dealer said it will sell and rent a full lineup of Takeuchi products, as well as stock parts and perform equipment repair.
“We have been in the Canadian market for a long time, and now with this new partnership with SMS Equipment we can continue to expand our brand in Canada and Alaska, and look forward to the opportunities that come with it,” Todd Granger, director of sales at Takeuchi-US, said in a statement. “The customer service at SMS Equipment is top-notch, and we have no doubt they will do a great job selling and renting Takeuchi machines.”
Takeuchi is known for its compact excavators, as well as its track, wheel and skid steer loaders.
