Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas has added a new distributor to its network of more than 75 dealers across the U.S. and Canada.

The company announced last week Amos, Que.-based Nordmax Inc. will become an authorized dealer for a full range of Hyundai CE products after a transfer of ownership.

Located in western Quebec, just north of Val-d’Or, Nordmax serves the local mining, forestry and agriculture communities. Hyundai noted the company’s principal, Maxime Bechamp, has a strong industry background, having worked previously with Agritibi RH, from which the new business was transferred.

“We are very proud and fortunate to be working with Nordmax to continue our efforts to serve the Agritibi and Northern Quebec Region with an energetic and highly motivated team,” Gordon Plotkin, Canadian regional director for HCEA, said in a release.
