A new partnership between Doosan Infracore North America and Rosslyn, Ont.-based ITEC 2000 Equipment will add to Doosan’s presence in Northern Ontario.

The equipment maker and Thunder Bay area dealer announced the new agreement last month.

ITEC 2000, which has served the forestry, mining and construction industries in the region since 1999, will now offer a range of Doosan equipment — from wheel loaders and excavators, to log loaders and articulated dump trucks.

“We’d been looking to expand as our company has grown,” Ray Jarvinen, president of ITEC 2000 Equipment, said in a release. “Doosan had product offerings that we felt would match up to what our customers are requesting. They have quality equipment where customers are going to get things like uptime, production and fuel savings.”
