Brandt signs deal to become exclusive dealer for American Augers, Trencor in Canada

REGINA—The Brandt Group of Companies has announced a new deal that will make it the exclusive dealer for American Augers and Trencor equipment across Canada.

The Regina-based company said the agreement will give its customers access to the full American Augers product line, as well as that of its Trencor subsidiary. The deal adds to the Ditch Witch equipment already offered by Brandt’s equipment dealer division.

“The addition of these lines is an important step for Brandt and the Canadian drilling industry,” Shaun Semple, Brandt’s president and CEO, said in a release. “It means that contractors can now get the biggest, most powerful equipment for any job from one dealer.”

At the largest end of the equipment spectrum, Brandt said its customers will now have access to auger boring machines with up to 1,200,000 pounds of maximum thrust and directional drills with up to 100,000 ft-lbs of torque.
