Three companies shortlisted for children’s treatment centres in Ontario

Construction InfrastructureInfrastructure Ontario and ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development have shortlisted three construction teams to design, build and finance new children’s treatment centres in Brampton, Mississauga and Oakville.

The three new facilities will allow ErinoakKids to consolidate programs and services from ten existing sites. The ErinoakKids Centre for Treatment and Development is the largest of Ontario’s 21 children’s treatment centres, treating more than 13,500 children and youth with disabilities each year in Peel, Halton and Dufferin.
The largest facility will be about 120,000 sq. ft. located in Brampton; the other two sites will be in Mississauga (90,000 sq. ft.) and Oakville (70,000 sq. ft.).
