Transportadora de Gas Internacional (TGI) has awarded SNC-Lavalin with an engineering, procurement and construction contract for a greenfield compression plant in Cajica, Cundinamarca, Colombia.
The project will allow TGI – Columbia’s largest natural gas transportation company with about 4,000 kilometres of pipelines – to meet peak demand for natural gas by adding a compressor station to the company’s La Sabana gas pipeline.
The project will be carried out from SNC-Lavalin’s Columbian offices, and is scheduled for completion in 2015.
