Recycled concrete pipes find new home…for tourists

A hotel in the village of Tepozitan, Morelos, Mexico has found a new home for recycled concrete pipes.

The Tubohotel offers 20 rooms to Tepozitan tourists made entirely from the recycled pipes and come equipped with a queen-sized bed, desk lamp, fan, under-bed storage, towels and a towel rack.

The rooms range from 300 to 600 pesos a ground level tube; from 400 to 700 pesos for a top-of-the-pyramid tube; and offer hiking and culinary packages for tourists.
