Quebec construction projects grind to a halt as workers stage general strike

The CBC reports major construction projects around Quebec are on hold this morning after the union representing 175,000 construction workers launched a general unlimited strike.

Construction companies and union representatives negotiated through the night and into Wednesday morning, but were unable to reach a deal.
