Police investigate bomb threat at Hamilton construction site
July 17, 2013 by On-Site Magazine
An employee discovered a handwritten letter saying a bomb was in the building at a Hamilton construction site on Monday.
Workers promptly evacuated the building and the Hamilton Police arrived at the Glover Road site just after 12:30 p.m. to investigate.
Police were able to clear the area a short time later as nothing else suspicious was recovered.
The Ministry of Labour attended the construction site and permitted workers to return to their jobs once the area was deemed safe.
Police are unsure who left the note and the investigation continues.
