An employee discovered a handwritten letter saying a bomb was in the building at a Hamilton construction site on Monday.
Workers promptly evacuated the building and the Hamilton Police arrived at the Glover Road site just after 12:30 p.m. to investigate.
Police were able to clear the area a short time later as nothing else suspicious was recovered.
