The National Heavy Equipment Show has been pushed to 2022.
Master Promotions Ltd,. the organizer of the construction trade show normally held just outside Toronto every two years, announced Jan. 28 it has decided to postpone the event planned for this spring.
“While we looked at options to sustain the future of the event, it became clear that spring 2022 was our best option for this edition,” show manager Mark Cusack said in a release. “This is a timeframe which has historically worked best for exhibitors and attendees. Our main priority is positioning the event for a safe and successful return, and this decision reflects that.”
Between quarantine requirements, border closures and other travel restrictions tied to COVID-19, the show organizer said it would not be able to deliver the event with face-to-face business and networking opportunities this spring.
The next NHES will be held March 31 to April 1, 2022 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont.
