McNair named sector leader at WSP

WSP in Canada has promoted Corey McNair to sector leader for the company’s Earth and Environment department.

Corey McNair now oversees all Earth and Environment operations for WSP in Canada. Formerly the company’s senior vice-president, environment for Ontario and the Atlantic region, McNair has been promoted to sector leader for Earth and Environment at the firm.

After joining WSP in 2019 as the company’s vice-president, transportation, major projects, he transitioned into the senior vice-president role in 2021. In his new role, he will lead a team of over 4,000 highly-skilled professionals across the country.

“Corey has a proven track record of putting people first to drive growth, develop new markets and foster an engaging team culture,” said Marie-Claude Dumas, president and CEO of WSP in Canada. “He also played a key role over the last three years in the expansion of the E&E sector.”

With more than 15 years of experience McNair has held senior positions in the nuclear energy and construction sectors in Ontario and holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Western University, as well as a master of business administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University.
