List of construction events cancelled or postponed due to coronavirus

CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas progressed mostly as planned this month, but show organizers called off the final day of the show as coronavirus concerns mounted

A growing number of industry events across Canada have been called off or postponed as provincial governments severely limit the size of gatherings and Ottawa takes the unprecedented step of closing the border to essentially all but Canadian and American citizens.

Below is a list of events affected by COVID-19, better known as simply coronavirus:


March 10-14

Canadian Construction Association (CCA) annual conference in San Diego — cancelled

March 23-25

International Concrete Repair Institute Spring Convention in Vancouver — cancelled

March 25-27

Canadian Mechanical & Plumbing Exposition (CMPX) in Toronto — postponed

March 26

Ontario Road Builders Association Spring Operations Seminar in Toronto — cancelled

April 2-3

Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show (AHES) in Moncton, N.B. — postponed

April 28-30

2020 Lean Construction Institute of Canada conference and training day in Winnipeg — cancelled

April 30 – May 2

Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) annual conference in Whistler, B.C. — postponed

May 1-2

Expo Grands Travaux in Saint-Hyacinthe, Que. — postponed

May 1-3

Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) 2020 National Conference and AGM in Edmonton — cancelled
