Lafarge Canada celebrates 40 years at Bath plant

Concrete Construction Construction MaterialsLafarge Canada marked 40 years of city and community building at its cement plant in Bath, Ont. by inviting the public inside the facility to celebrate.
Built in 1973 following a merger between Canada Cement and Lafarge, the Bath Cement plant (located about 30 km west of Kingston, Ont.) currently employs 100 employees.
The plant is able to produce 1.1 million tonnes of cement per year, and ships it across Ontario and the U.S.
