MHPM Project Managers Inc. and SNC Lavalin O&M have signed a five-year contract with Infrastructure Ontario to deliver close to $1 billion worth of construction projects.
As Project Management Service Providers (PMSPs), both companies will deliver Infrastructure Ontario projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $10 million. The contract includes about 1,500 construction and improvement projects worth $180 million annually.
Projects will involve renovations, repairs and replacements required to maintain the real estate portfolio or to meet specific program requirements of government ministries and the public sector.
“MHPM and SNC Lavalin O&M will play an important role in maintaining provincially-owned infrastructure across Ontario and will support hundreds of businesses across the province,” said Toni Rossi, executive vice-president, Real Estate and Lending for Infrastructure Ontario.
MHPM president and CEO, Franklin Holtforster, said the company is delighted to secure this contract. “Having succeeded within a very competitive public procurement, it is recognition of our capabilities. The IO managed real estate portfolio is the largest of any province in Canada. We are honoured to have the responsibility to lead this important work, and look forward to delivering projects that obtain value for the taxpayers of Ontario.”
