Holcim Canada launches Together for Communities initiative

Holcim Canada is offering up its 3,000 Canadian employees to communities across the country.

As part of the 100-year anniversary celebrations of its parent company, Holcim Ltd., employees will be volunteering one workday to relevant causes in their local communities throughout the year.

The announcement was made at the Earth Rangers Centre in Woodbridge, Ont. on April 19.

Holcim Canada hopes the initiative will engage other Holcim employees around the globe, and stated it could have as many as 80,000 employees participate worldwide. Holcim stated that would provide nearly 100 years worth of volunteer service.
