Golder Associates to lease majority of new LEED Gold building at Broadway Tech Centre
Golder Associates Ltd. is relocating its Greater Vancouver office to a building with a golden future.
The employee-owned engineering, consulting, design and construction services firm recently finalized a lease agreement for three full floors of the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation’s future LEED Gold office building at Broadway Tech Centre, an integrated office and warehouse development, located at 2920 Virtual Way in Vancouver, B.C.
The 196,000 sq. ft., four-storey office building is scheduled for construction later this month and will be the eighth building at Broadway Tech Centre.
Golder Associates’ three-floor lease is scheduled to begin in January 2015 and will total 135,000 sq. ft. of office space.
The building will also have 15,000 sq. ft. of service-oriented retail space and a 5,000 sq. ft. daycare facility.
The Broadway Tech Centre was recognized by the Urban Development Institute (UDI) for excellence in Urban/Office Development and by the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects and won the 2002 National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Comprehensive Development Award.
