Geotechnical specialist Keller is growing its operations in Quebec with a new office in the Montreal suburb of Laval.

The U.K.-headquartered contractor said this month it has acquired the local assets of TreviGroup, adding a team experienced in carrying out soldier pile and lagging, tieback anchors, bored piling, micropiles and slurry walls. The office will continue operating under its current structure, though under the new banner.

“I look forward to the opportunities this office brings to Keller in Canada, providing a platform for Keller to expand its full range of services to clients in eastern Canada,” Curtis Cook, the company’s senior vice-president, said in a release. “We are very impressed with the quality and abilities of the team, with whom we share similar values and business focus.”

Keller said the expanded footprint will help it serve clients in the public, commercial and industrial sectors in Quebec and throughout Eastern Canada.
