EllisDon expands western reach with purchase of PME Group of Companies

EllisDon announced the purchase of the Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.-based PME Group of Companies on July 10, expanding its civil services across Canada, particularly out west.

The company performs civil site work and general construction services for the oil and gas industry throughout Western Canada, with its main focus on the northern Alberta region. PME has focused largely on the oil refineries, oil sands development and oil and gas pipeline sectors in the greater Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan and Fort McMurray areas.
