Dexter Construction, the construction arm of the Municipal Group of Companies, located in Bedford, N.S., has been awarded a $16,750,533 contract for work on Highway 104, near the Town of Antigonish, N.S.

The project is an eight-kilometre stretch of Highway 104 – a controlled access, 100-series highway from Addington Forks, N.S. to east of Beech Hill Road.

The project is part of the Province of Nova Scotia’s Five-Year Highway Program released on November 29, 2010.

Funding for the project was made possible through multi-million dollar investments from the federal government’s Building Canada Fund and the province’s five-year highway plan.
