Contract awarded for Providence Care Hospital Project

Integrated Team Solutions have signed a 30-year, $810-million contract to design, build, finance and maintain the new Providence Care Hospital in Kingston, Ont.

Services and programs from the St. Mary’s of the Lake Hospital site and the Mental Health Services site of Providence Care will be relocated to the new hospital to offer a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient programs. 

The state-of-the-art facility will incorporate sustainable design and construction features, with the goal of achieving LEED Silver certification. 

Construction is starting immediately and the project is expected to be completed by fall 2016. Integrated Team Solutions estimates more than 350 workers will be on site at the peak of construction.
