Clarington Police Complex is a winning Public Works project

The Graham-built Clarington Police Complex Project was recently awarded the Ontario Public Works Association’s (OPWA) Project of the Year in the $10 million to $50 million division.
Graham’s scope of work on the CDN$27 million institutional facility included construction of the East Division Police building – a non-combustible, one-storey building which includes three bio-exam labs, a chemical and ballistics lab, administrative and investigative office spaces, and two vehicle examination bays. Graham also delivered a forensic investigation facility which provides support services performed by the Forensic Investigation Unit of the Durham Regional Police Service.

Since 2001, the OPWA Project of the Year Awards have promoted excellence in the management and administration of public works projects by recognizing the alliance between the managing agency, the consultant/architect/engineer, and the contractor.
