Acquisition adds mechanical to contractor’s service offerings.

Carlson Construction Group recently announced the acquisition of Aligned Industrial Services, full-service industrial mechanical contracting firm based in British Columbia that provides installation and maintenance services for industrial facilities.

The addition increases Carlson’s industrial construction capability, which already includes Brymark Installations Group and Corwest Fabrications, and expands its industrial service offerings. Aligned’s general manager, Brad Dumont, and construction manager, Garey Carlson, each have more than 20 years of experience in the industrial field and previously worked at Brymark.

“Aligned Industrial brings added offerings and expanded future potential to our organization,” says Gordon Carlson, founder and chairman of Carlson. “Its key senior management of Brad Dumont, general manager, and Garey Carlson, construction manager, are excellent additions to our leadership team.”

Since the acquisition, Dumont has been promoted to serve as general manager of all Carlson industrial operating companies, including Aligned, Brymark and Corwest. Garey Carlson will continue as construction manager for Aligned.
