Bird announces $100 million in new contracts

Bird Construction Inc. has recently been awarded about $100 million in civil and building construction contracts that will serve the needs of its industrial clients in northern Alberta. 

The awards will be added to Bird’s backlog in the third quarter of 2013 and the revenue generated from these projects is expected to be put in place by mid-2015.

“These awards are the culmination of many months’ work by our procurement teams,” said Tim Talbott, president and CEO of Bird Construction Inc. “And while the construction marketplace remains competitive, these projects will contribute positively to our financial results during their construction life.”
