AnyQuip contractor-to-contractor rentals keep equipment costs low in Fort McMurray

AnyQuip provides a solution to rising rental prices in high-demand situations such as Fort McMurray, by offering increased availability, lower rates, and flexible contracts. AnyQuip’s equipment call-out connects equipment owners across Western Canada with contractors that need it immediately. The contractor-to-contractor network is built upon a sharing economy model and as a result, naturally creates lower pricing than traditional rental companies.

Mobilizing a balanced supply of construction and landscaping equipment will be needed to rebuild homes and community areas. “Our country has demonstrated a strong sense of community for the Wood Buffalo region that our AnyQuip Members identify with,” Steve Skiba, CEO. “We want to facilitate a quick and economical rebuilding process by connecting contractors that need equipment with those that have it sitting idle.”

AnyQuip will donate 50 per cent of its service fee for all rentals within Fort McMurray and the Wood Buffalo region until December, 2016. The accumulated donation will go towards a local civic project in RMWB that will be chosen by participating AnyQuip members.
