World of Concrete 2021 is shifting from January to June as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to upend the status quo across North America and much of the world.
The event’s organizer Informa announced Sept. 29 it has rescheduled the busy concrete and construction trade show for June 8-10 after consulting with key stakeholders.
“We have a commitment to our exhibitors and attendees to provide a valuable and productive face-to-face experience at WOC each year,” Jackie James, group director for World of Concrete, said in a release. “This is the first time in our 46-year history we have been faced with circumstances that have caused us to reschedule the event.”
James added that the June should will “provide everyone with the necessary time to plan effectively, and allows us to reimagine WOC for a different time of the year.”
The Las Vegas Convention Center, the event’s longtime venue, remains unchanged.
