Westcon Equipment has sold and serviced heavy equipment in South Central Canada since 2004.

JCB has added a new dealer, Westcon, to its North American network.

The manufacturer hopes this latest expansion will grow its market share throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

“We look forward to working with [Westcon] and helping their customers discover how JCB machines can improve productivity and profitability,” said Christian Baillie vice president of construction equipment dealer sales for JCB.

Westcon, headquartered in Regina, Sask., will sell, rent and service JCB equipment from two branches in Saskatchewan – Regina and Saskatoon – and one in Winnipeg, Man.

It will initially carry JCB backhoes, excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, telescopic handlers, wheel loaders, access aerial work platforms and rough terrain forklifts.

Westcon JCB will also sell and service two new JCB machines, the Teleskid and the Hydradig wheeled excavator/tool carrier. Used equipment acquired via trade-ins and rental fleet sales is also available.

“Westcon is continually looking for new product lines, and we are pleased to now represent JCB construction products in Saskatchewan and Manitoba,” said Brian Brown, president and CEO of Westcon Equipment.
