EllisDon recently teamed up with the Mustard Seed, an outreach organization based in Alberta, to donate 122 pairs of work boots to its Employment Program.

“We have a strong desire to be in the community, and this gave us an opportunity to step up and do that,” said EllisDon director of business development, Frederick Vine.

“One of the boundaries to employment is often that people cannot afford the clothing or equipment they need for the job,” said Jeremiah Smith, Mustard Seed employment manager. “This allows us to make sure that people not only get jobs but have the tools they need to jump right in.”
