VRCA bestows excellence awards to Vancouver’s top construction projects

The Vancouver Regional Construction Association recently announced the winners of its VRCA 2014 Awards of Excellence.

The joint venture team of ITC Construction Canada Inc., Dominion Masonry Ltd., Sentrax Mechanical Contracting Ltd., and Chambers Electrical Corp. won a gold award in the Heritage Restoration category for their work on 564 Beatty St. in Vancouver.

The VCRA selected three silver award winners in 11 different categories for their use of innovative techniques, new materials or exceptional project management. The association will choose a gold award winner from each of those categories and announce the winners at the 26^th annual VRCA Awards of Excellence gala dinner on Oct. 16 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
