EllisDon celebrates the Jersey of Courage at the Pearson Airport Terminal 3 Project

Employees and Subcontractors at the Toronto Pearson International Airport Terminal 3 project celebrated safety which featured, MySafeWork founder and workplace safety champion Rob Ellis, EllisDon president and CEO Geoff Smith, and Kieran Hawe, EllisDon senior vice president and area manager for Toronto.

The event focused on EllisDon’s Journey of Safety Excellence. EllisDon and their Subcontractor partners “took the pledge” by signing both the Prime Minister’s and EllisDon’s Jersey of Courage, committing to collectively improving workplace safety, finding and sharing new ideas and innovations for safety strategies and transferring safety knowledge and experience to the next generation and to families in our local communities.

The company’s commitment to safety was also celebrated at the event, sharing the recently-won Canada’s Safest Employer Award trophy with its GTAA (Greater Toronto Airports Authority) project team members.
