trudeauOn Wednesday, July 20th, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made an impromptu visit to EllisDon’s 180 Wellington Street site in Ottawa, a Beaux Art historical federal government building. The Prime Minister stopped by to look at the newly-renovated building, which features a green wall, copper from the original roof re-purposed in the library, and a skylight-topped sustainable roof.

While walking through some of the areas within the building, Prime Minister Trudeau seemed very impressed with the efforts made by our team,” said Eric Petersen, Senior Site Superintendent on the 180 Wellington Street project.

The project is soon to be completed, and the public can see these new features, as well as the original million-piece glass mosaic in the lobby, fully restored by EllisDon.
