EllisDon’s stellar safety record earns multiple awards

EllisDon has once again been recognized as one of the safest places to work in the industry.

This past week, the Ontario General Contractor Association (OGCA) and Ministry of Labour (MOL) recognized EllisDon with three accolades, further demonstrating that it is an industry leader, taking safety to the next level.

EllisDon was recognized for the following:

Milestone Award — Recognition of achievement of reaching over 1,000,000 consecutive man-hours worked without a lost time injury. (EllisDon logged 3.8 million consecutive man-hours.)

Ministry of Labour – Industry leading commitment to Workplace Health and Safety

Distinguished Achievement Award — Achieving a ZERO Injury Frequency in 2014 and 2015 combined while working 7.6 million man-hours.
