EllisDon’s seventh annual United Way campaign raised just under $300,000 in what is now hailed as the company’s most successful campaign to date.
This time around, the two-week event involved EllisDon’s corporate headquarters, as well as EllisDon’s London and Toronto offices. The final proceeds, which exceeded EllisDon’s target of $250,000, will benefit several areas and communities supported by United Way. The campaign’s success can be attributed to the goodwill and generosity of EllisDon’s employees, and the Smith Family, as well as tremendous support from corporate matching, and the Don Smith Foundation.
“I consistently hear stories of people in our communities who have had their lives changed by United Way,” says Michael Smith, EllisDon’s Senior Vice President, International Division.”I feel very lucky to help the communities here at home that have helped EllisDon succeed.”
As a builder of not only structures, but communities, EllisDon advocates for healthy, quality lifestyles for all. Since 2008, EllisDon has raised over a million dollars to improve the circumstances of impoverished individuals via United Way.
