Bird Construction Inc. to build meat processing facility for Maple Leaf Foods in Hamilton

Bird Construction Inc. was recently awarded a contract to construct a new prepared meat processing facility for Maple Leaf Foods in Hamilton, Ont.

Construction has already begun on the state-of-the art, 402,000 sq. ft. plant. It is expected to be built to LEED Silver certification and be completed in 2014.
