Aecon receives Certificate of Recognition in Ontario from IHSA

The Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) recently presented Aecon with the Certificate of Recognition (COR) in Ontario.

According to the IHSA website, companies that obtain the COR certification have the ability to “demonstrate to buyers of construction that their health and safety management system has been developed, implemented, and evaluated on an annual basis through comprehensive internal and external audits.”

Aecon has received COR certification in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia.

COR is sanctioned by the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Association (CFCSA). For more information on COR certification, click here.
