2017 CanBIM Award recipients recognized at annual gala

Construction Software BIM BIM awards CanBIM

The 3rd Annual CanBIM Awards took place in Toronto on September 28th at the Beanfield Centre.

These awards recognizes companies and or individuals that demonstrate leadership and innovation through the implementation of technology. The CanBIM Awards are intended to spotlight the exceptional work of Canadian AECOO professionals and companies.

Top honours this year went to PCL Construction for its work on the Rocky Ridge Recreation Centre, walking away with the General Contractors Award and the Best In BIM.

The International Award, Sponsored by Turner Fleischer Architects, went to Groupe Canam for the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Special recognition goes out to Ellen Bensky, Partner and CEO of Turner Fleischer Architects for picking up this years Professional Achievement Award. An Award that is intended to honour a CanBIM member who has made a significant and meaningful contribution to the advancement of Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design and Construction in Canada.
